As the name suggests, this type of contact lenses are meant to be replaced daily and is ideal for those looking for the ultimate in comfort and convenience.

Since they are disposal and replaced every day, theses are best if you have sensitive eyes as replacing the lens daily prevents the build-up of allergenic material on the lens.

✔  A clean, fresh lens everyday is the best way of keeping your eyes healthy during as the lens wear

✔ They can be purchased in bulk and least up to a year so they are perfect if you wear contact lenses part time.

Monthly or Fortnightly Disposable Lenses

These lenses need to be replaced every month or 2 weeks.

You will need to care for them unlike disposable lenses by cleaning them daily and keeping then secure in solution.

Contact Lenses for Overnight Wear

These types of lenses are for those that wish to sleep with their contact lenses on. They are not really recommended as they place a lot of added stress on your eyes and so the first 2 options are your best long term solutions (Pun intended).

Soft Contact Lenses

These are the norm theses days. Since they are soft and large (14mm in diameter), they are also:

✔ Easy Available

✔  Convenient

✔  Comfortable

✔ Quickly get used to them

Hard Contact Lenses

Hard Contact lenses are more custom to your eyes are are your option if you have a very unique prescription.

They are smaller in diameter (9.5mm) compared to softer contact lenses.

With that said, may people still prefer the convenience of soft lenses.

The advantages of hard contact lenses is that they can:

✔ Enhance your vision

✔ Made specifically for your eyes.

✔ Can last forever if you take great care of them.

Take note that the fitting process for hard lenses takes more time and expertise to get right.

You may have to return to your optometrist to have it tweaked in order it fit you perfectly and your vision is at its best.

Also they can take more time to get used to.
